Architect: Land of Exiles is an open world MMORPG developed by Aqua Tree and published by DRIMAGE, built on Unreal Engine 5. It launched on September 16, 2026, on mobile with a PC client. The world is built around a mysterious structure called the Tower of Titans.
How it plays
Combat is hack and slash with no target lock, and it adds parrying and Battle Stances, so timing matters. Away from fights there are puzzles and hidden treasures to find. Groups can run party dungeons and major boss raids, and there is large scale PvP. Players can trade with each other, and your character keeps progressing for up to 24 hours while you are offline.
The good side
Parrying in an MMORPG is uncommon and makes fights feel more active than the usual skill rotation. Player trading keeps an economy alive. Offline progress helps players who cannot log in every day. Pre-registration opened across Asia, so our region was part of the launch.
The watch-outs
The launch was rough. We reported on login queues, and the developer said the queue problems remained after launch. Games with offline progression and trading often sell convenience and power, so look closely at the shop. Large scale PvP tends to reward the biggest spenders and the most active guilds.
For players in Asia
This is one of the few new MMORPGs that opened in Asia from day one, with a global version in English. Check which server region your friends are on before you create a character.
NEXTARCA's take
The combat is better than most mobile MMORPGs, and that is worth something. The queues and the business model are the two things to watch. Play free for a week before you decide whether it deserves any money.
