Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how NEXTARCA collects, uses, and protects information in connection with your use of NEXTARCA. It should be read together with our Terms of Service and Cookie Policy.

We collect information you provide directly (such as when you create an account or contact us), information about how you use NEXTARCA, and limited technical information needed to operate NEXTARCA securely.

When you create an account, we collect your email address, username/display name, and any profile information you choose to add, such as an avatar, bio, or connected social links.

Your public profile may display information you choose to share, such as your display name, avatar, bio, connected accounts (where you enable them), and public activity such as comments.

NEXTARCA uses Supabase Auth to manage sign-in. Depending on which sign-in method you use, this may include your email address and password (stored securely, never in plain text), or, if you sign in with Google, information provided by Google. When you create an account or sign in, we record the network (IP) address you connect from, to protect accounts and prevent abuse, and we may use it to estimate the country you are signing in from.

We collect the comments and replies you submit, so that these features can work and your activity can be displayed as intended (for example, on your public profile).

If you contact NEXTARCA through a website form or by email, we keep your message and contact details so we can respond. If you work with us on partnerships, press or advertising, we keep your name, work email address, company and our correspondence to manage that relationship.

We collect limited technical information needed to operate NEXTARCA securely, such as session information used to keep you signed in.

We also collect information about how NEXTARCA is used, such as the pages viewed, the website that referred you, and your device type. This comes from NEXTARCA's own page counter, which does not use cookies or store IP addresses, and, if you accept analytics cookies, from Google Analytics. See our Cookie Policy for details.

NEXTARCA uses essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the website securely. With your consent, NEXTARCA also uses analytics and advertising cookies, including cookies set by Google. You can change your choices at any time with the Cookie Preferences link at the bottom of every page. See our Cookie Policy for the full list.

Advertising helps fund NEXTARCA. Ads sold directly are shown through NEXTARCA's own ad system, which records impressions and clicks to measure performance without setting advertising cookies.

NEXTARCA also uses Google AdSense to show ads. Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to NEXTARCA or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to NEXTARCA and other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising from Google in My Ad Center, and you can opt out of some other vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at www.aboutads.info. We use the information we collect to operate your account and authenticate you, provide comments, Games, News and Compare Games features, maintain security and prevent abuse, respond to messages and support requests, measure how NEXTARCA is used so we can improve it, and show advertising that helps fund the website.

NEXTARCA is responsible for the information described in this policy. We use it on these grounds:

• To provide the service you asked for: creating and running your account, and showing your comments.
• With your consent: analytics and advertising cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time with the Cookie Preferences link at the bottom of every page.
• For our legitimate interests: keeping NEXTARCA secure, preventing abuse, and understanding how the website is used through statistics that do not identify you.
• To comply with the law, where it requires us to keep or disclose information.

We use a limited number of service providers to operate NEXTARCA, including Supabase (database, authentication and file storage), Hostinger (website hosting and email), and Google (Google Analytics, Google AdSense and YouTube video embeds). Where you sign in with Google, Google processes the information needed to complete sign-in. We share information with service providers only as needed to operate NEXTARCA. Google's use of information is governed by Google's Privacy Policy.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with the service providers described above, when required by law, or when necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of NEXTARCA or our users.

We keep information only for as long as we need it:

• Account and profile information: for as long as your account exists. When you ask us to delete your account, we delete it and the information in it within 30 days.
• Comments and replies: for as long as your account exists, or until you or a moderator removes them.
• Messages and business contacts: for as long as needed to answer you and to manage the relationship.
• Security records, such as sign-in history: for as long as needed to protect accounts and prevent abuse.
• Page view statistics: these hold no names, cookies or IP addresses.

We may keep information for longer where the law requires it, or where we need it to resolve a dispute or enforce our agreements.

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your information, including secure authentication and access-controlled database policies. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You can accept or decline analytics and advertising cookies in our cookie banner and change your choice at any time with the Cookie Preferences link at the bottom of every page. You can also opt out of personalized advertising from Google in My Ad Center, and opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Wherever you live, you can ask us to:

• give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• correct information that is wrong;
• delete your information;
• stop or limit how we use your information, or object to a use;
• send your information to you in a format you can take elsewhere.

To use any of these rights, contact support@nextarca.com. We answer within 30 days. You can also withdraw consent for cookies at any time with the Cookie Preferences link at the bottom of every page. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the data protection authority in your country. Where the law where you live gives you further privacy rights, we will respect them.

NEXTARCA does not currently offer a self-service "Delete My Account" feature. If you would like your account deleted, contact support@nextarca.com and we will process your request.

NEXTARCA is available worldwide. Our database and website are hosted in Singapore, and our service providers (including Supabase, our hosting provider and Google) may store or process information in other countries. By using NEXTARCA, you understand that your information may be processed in a country other than the one you live in.

NEXTARCA accounts are for people who are at least 16 years old, as described in our Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 16, we will delete the account and the information in it. If you believe someone under 16 has created an account, contact us at support@nextarca.com.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the version and "Last Updated" date shown on this page.
