Aniimo will arrive on iOS and Android on September 23, 2026, bringing Pawprint Studio’s creature-collecting role-playing game to phones and tablets. Players can begin preloading the mobile version on September 22 at 12:00 AM UTC+8, according to an official Aniimo announcement.

For players in the Philippines, the preload opens at midnight on September 22 because Philippine time uses the same UTC+8 time zone. Downloading the game in advance should reduce the amount of installation time required when mobile access begins, although Pawprint Studio has not announced the exact launch hour for September 23.

Aniimo mobile requires 18 GB of available storage

The official requirements list 18 GB of available storage for both iOS and Android devices. Players may want to clear additional space before downloading because installation, temporary files, and later updates can require more room than the initial listed amount.

On iOS, the minimum supported configuration is:

  • iPhone 11 with the A13 chipset

  • iOS 16

  • 4 GB of memory

  • 18 GB of available storage

Pawprint Studio recommends an iPhone 14 Pro with the A16 chipset or a newer model, iOS 16 or later, and at least 6 GB of memory.

The Android requirements are based on processing hardware rather than specific phone models. The minimum configuration calls for:

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 or MediaTek Dimensity 1000

  • Android 10

  • 6 GB of memory

  • Vulkan 1.1 graphics support

  • 18 GB of available storage

For the recommended Android experience, the studio lists a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 or MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset or better, Android 10, at least 8 GB of memory, and Vulkan 1.1 or later.

These recommendations indicate that players will need relatively powerful hardware for the intended mobile experience. Devices that fall below the minimum requirements may not launch the game or run it reliably, according to the notice.

Several Bluetooth controllers will be supported

Aniimo will support selected Bluetooth and telescopic controllers on mobile. The confirmed list includes PlayStation 5 controllers, Xbox controllers, the EasySMX M20, the GameSir G8 Plus, and the GameSir X4 Aileron. The X4 Aileron is limited to Android.

The announcement also identifies several restrictions. Telescopic controllers made for Android will not work on iOS. Nintendo Switch controllers and Joy Con controllers are not supported on mobile, while controller vibration will also be unavailable.

Players planning to use a controller should check the compatibility of their particular phone, operating system, and controller model before launch.

Mobile expands Aniimo beyond PC and consoles

Aniimo is developed and published by Pawprint Studio, a development and publishing label backed by FunPlus. The studio describes the game as a free-to-play, open-world role-playing game built around collecting creatures called Aniimo.

Its central Twining mechanic allows players to merge with collected Aniimo and use their abilities during exploration, combat, and environmental challenges. The wider game also includes solo play, multiplayer activities, creature collection, and the Egg Heist competitive mode.

The September 23 release adds another way to enter the world of Idyll and gives Aniimo a broader cross-platform presence. Mobile access may be particularly useful for players who want to continue playing away from their PC or console, but Pawprint Studio’s current announcement does not explain whether account progress will transfer between every available platform.

The confirmed next step is the mobile preload on September 22 at 12:00 AM UTC+8. Exact store links, the September 23 opening time, regional rollout details, and complete information about progress sharing had not been included in the announcement at the time of writing.
