Veyora is a medieval open world RPG with survival and farming, made and published by JEP Switzerland LLC, where one developer builds the game at a small Swiss studio. It is set in the fictional lands around Lake Veyora, and your story starts in a room above the old tavern in Grey Hollow, with only fragments of your memory left.
How it plays
There is no set path. You can explore caves, ruins, bandit camps and dungeons, follow quests from hundreds of NPCs, or settle down. A free form building system lets you place a house or a whole farm piece by piece, and crops and animals need time and care. You gather herbs for alchemy, mine materials, craft and trade at markets. Combat covers swords, spears, hammers, daggers, bows, crossbows, staffs and lances, with talents and magic for your build, and you can travel on horseback. Day and night and changing weather shape each trip.
The good side
Everything can be played solo or in co-op, online or over LAN, and players do not have to stick together. The developer posts a monthly devlog on Steam and shows a roadmap on the store page. A demo was released for Steam Next Fest.
The watch-outs
Veyora launches in Early Access and is a one person project, so content and polish will take time. The demo uses an older build with a small part of the map. PC requirements are heavy: 16 GB of RAM and a GTX 1660 SUPER at minimum, 32 GB and an RTX 3060 Ti recommended, with an SSD strongly advised. Steam does not list controller support, and there are only two languages.
For players around the world
Veyora comes to Windows PC through Steam, in English with full audio and in German. The developer's Steam announcement gives Early Access as Monday 26 October 2026, and no launch time has been given for Asia, Europe or the US. The official pages say nothing about regions or servers.
NEXTARCA's take
Veyora is for players who want a slow, open ended medieval life with RPG combat, ideally with a friend or two. The feature list is long for one developer. Early Access will show how much of it is solid on day one, and whether the heavy PC needs come down.
