SpiritVale Halloween Event Runs All October in Update 0.33.0

SpiritVale has started its Halloween event, and it runs for the whole of October. It arrived with update 0.33.0, which also makes farming in the open world more rewarding. Baikun Interactive listed the changes in its patch notes.

How the Halloween event works

• Regular monsters and special Halloween monsters drop Trick or Treat bags.

• Bags contain Halloween Candy and other rare drops.

• Candy can be traded for cosmetics, but only while the event is running.

• Some new Halloween cosmetics are also in the store for the duration of the event.

Farming outside the Spire pays better

The developer says the game had become too centered on the Echoing Spire, so field farming gets a boost:

• Boxes of Mastery now drop from level 100 maps at better rates, from 0.15% to 0.3% depending on the map.

• Essence drop rates go up by as much as three times on the hardest maps.

• Grimoire crafting needs 20 Masterwork Cores, down from 25.

Echoing Spire and balance

You can now invite party members in the middle of a Spire run, limited to three invites per run, and the Spire entrance no longer disconnects players for idling.

On the balance side, the Necromancer loses one skeleton mage from both Dancing Dead and Bone Choir, and the Wizard’s Frostglass and Combustion are brought closer together.

Stability

The notes admit the game has had many issues since the previous patch, mostly caused by anti cheat work, and say it should now be more stable. Chinese and Japanese translations are improved, and market search works in both languages.
