DYNASTY WARRIORS 3: Complete Edition Remastered

This is a remake of DYNASTY WARRIORS 3 and its Xtreme Legends expansion from Koei Tecmo, rebuilt in Unreal Engine 5. It was released on September 30, 2026 and costs $39.99 on Steam. The original is the game that set the pattern for the whole series.

How it plays

You choose from more than 40 officers of the Three Kingdoms era and fight across large battlefields as one warrior against a thousand. It supports single player, and co-op and PvP on a shared or split screen, so two people can play on one machine.

The good side

Steam reviews are Very Positive, about 85 percent from close to 1,900 reviews. There is a demo. Split screen play is rare on PC today and is a real reason to pick this up with a friend or family member. The price is fair for a full remake.

The watch-outs

The store lists multiplayer only as shared or split screen, so do not expect to team up online. This series is about cutting through crowds, and some players find that repetitive after a while. Steam tags it as RPG, but the role playing is light. The recommended PC asks for an RTX 3060, which is high for a remake of an older game.

Japanese, Korean and Simplified Chinese have full audio, with Traditional Chinese in text. Other languages are limited to English.
