Crimson Desert has been nominated for PC Game of the Year and Best Soundtrack at the 2026 Golden Joystick Awards. The awards organizer’s nominee list names the game in both categories. Pearl Abyss confirmed the nominations in a September 28 announcement.
Why the two names appear
The organizer lists the nominee as Crimson Desert, while Pearl Abyss’s announcement calls it Crimson Desert Enhanced. Enhanced is the name of the free update released for existing owners in August. It added story moments and expanded language support; it is not a separate game players need to buy to follow these nominations.
The nominations recognize the game across its PC release and its music. They do not establish how it will place when voting ends. Players can vote through the Golden Joystick Awards website until October 23. The winners are scheduled to be announced in London on November 11. The organizer has not specified a closing hour on its key dates page.
