Nodusfall’s developers have answered several questions that matter to players weighing up the new action game: most core content can be played solo, PC is confirmed for launch, and characters will be unlocked through play rather than gacha pulls. The team also says it has not finalized the maximum party size or the details of its monetization.

The clarification comes in a ten question post from Nodusfall’s official account. It gives players a clearer idea of how the game is intended to work, while leaving some practical questions open.

Nodusfall puts cooperative combat first, but allows solo play

The developers describe Nodusfall as a mythology themed action game centered on cooperative multiplayer. They say players will be able to experience the vast majority of its core content alone. In a group, the focus shifts toward coordinating character roles, including a shared combat mechanic called Divine Drain. The maximum number of players who can join a team has yet to be announced.

That distinction matters for players interested in the world but unable to assemble a regular group. Solo play is part of the plan, although the developers have not said whether every activity will be available or identical when played alone.

Boss encounters are a major focus, but the post also describes story content and quieter activities outside combat. The developers mention playing a duet with a friend and visiting hot springs. Those examples suggest a broader world to spend time in, though the post does not explain how extensive those activities will be.

Characters unlock through play, while monetization remains undecided

The team states that players will be able to unlock every character by continuing to play Nodusfall. Character unlocks will not use gacha pulls. That is a specific confirmation about obtaining characters, rather than a complete explanation of the game’s economy. The developers say they are still planning further monetization details.

Combat will also feature customizable Divine Skills alongside each character’s basic attacks and abilities. According to the team, these skills can serve offensive, defensive, or support roles, giving players choices based on their preferred approach and team composition. The developers say they want the game to be approachable for newcomers while offering greater depth through controls, builds, and teamwork.

PC is confirmed for launch, with more details to come

PC is the only launch platform confirmed in the new post. The developers say information about other platforms will come through official channels later. They have also given no final party size in this update. The official website currently offers pre registration, but it does not provide a release date in its public announcement.

For now, the clearest picture is of a game designed around cooperative action that still accommodates solo players. Anyone deciding whether to sign up should treat additional platforms, team size, and the full monetization model as open questions until Nodusfall publishes those details.
