Aikasy has set dates for Isekai Guardians, its free-to-play, text-based MMORPG on Steam. According to the studio's release schedule post, the open beta begins on 23 October at 23:00 CEST, which is already 24 October in Asia, and Early Access follows on 18 December. After that point, the studio says there will be no more wipes.

The start times around the world

  • Open beta: 11 PM on 23 October in Central Europe (CEST), which is 10 PM in London (BST), 5 PM in New York (EDT) and 2 PM in Los Angeles (PDT) on 23 October, and 5 AM on 24 October in Singapore, Hong Kong and Taipei (GMT+8), 6 AM in Seoul and Tokyo (GMT+9).
  • Early Access: 18 December at 23:00. The post labels this time CEST, but Central Europe is on winter time in December. If the studio means 11 PM in Central Europe (CET), that is 10 PM in London (GMT), 5 PM in New York (EST) and 2 PM in Los Angeles (PST) on 18 December, and 6 AM on 19 December in Singapore, Hong Kong and Taipei (GMT+8). If the CEST label is meant literally, every one of those times is one hour earlier.

The Steam store page fills in the gap between the two. It lists the open beta as running until 4 December, after which the servers go offline before launch. Beta progress is reset, while Premium time and eligible purchases are to be restored or credited under each offer's terms. The store page calls 18 December the full release, while the news post calls it the Early Access release, so the label is not fully settled.

What kind of game this is

Isekai Guardians is set in Celestria, a fantasy world where players are summoned by a royal family as a Demon King rises. Play happens mostly through text and menus, with turn-based fights. The store page lists solo and group dungeons for up to six players, more than 100 Guardians to collect and train, fishing, farming, crafting and housing, guild castle battles, a player market and four playable races.

It runs on Windows, macOS and SteamOS or Linux, and supports 13 languages, including Japanese, Thai and both forms of Chinese. The store page says there are no paywalls. An optional monthly subscription adds a higher energy cap, faster energy refill, a name color and a few vouchers. The page also discloses AI generated artwork.

Where the studio stands

The schedule post came as the game passed 3,000 wishlists, a week after Aikasy marked 2,000. The studio says it will spend the time before the beta on fixes and perhaps one or two new features, and it points players to its Discord for updates.

NEXTARCA's take

This is a small, niche project, and the plan is refreshingly clear about wipes: play the beta to learn the systems, not to build a character you keep. Menu-driven MMORPGs suit short sessions on a work break, and free entry on PC and Mac lowers the risk of trying it. The part to watch is the energy system. When a subscription raises energy limits, the free experience can feel slow, so the beta is the right moment to judge whether daily play feels fair without paying.
