Moon Studios held a Wicked Inside showcase on 16 October that looked closely at the Class System for No Rest for the Wicked. The studio confirmed the stream time in a short Steam announcement, and repeated that classes arrive with an Open Beta in December, ahead of the full launch in March 2027.

When and where it aired
The showcase started at the same moment around the world on 16 October: 11 PM in Singapore, Hong Kong, Taipei and Beijing (GMT+8), 5 PM in Central Europe (CEST), 4 PM in London (BST), 11 AM in New York (EDT) and 8 AM in Los Angeles (PDT). Moon Studios named its YouTube channel and its Twitch channel as the places to watch, and the recording can be found there. The announcement did not say how long the stream would run.
What has been shown about classes so far
A September sneak peek from the studio gave the first numbers: 24 classes, more than 280 class traits, six trait slots and six factions. It also said all 24 classes will be playable in the December Open Beta. Since then, Moon Studios has shown class armor designs and two new zones planned for the 1.0 release, and each time it pointed to Wicked Inside for the full explanation of how classes work.
How the launch plan looks now
The game has been in Early Access on Steam since April 2024. On 1 September, Moon Studios moved the 1.0 launch from October 2026 to March 2027, saying the extra months would go into performance, the class system and overall polish. The same notice said Steam players who buy the game before 1 January 2027 will get Founder's Pack rewards, and that PlayStation pre-orders open in January 2027.
No exact day has been given for the Open Beta or for the March launch. It is also not stated yet which platforms the Open Beta covers, or whether Early Access progress carries over to 1.0.
NEXTARCA's take
This was the stream that had to show whether the delay was worth it. Twenty four classes and six trait slots on top of a Souls-like action RPG could bring real build variety, or they could flatten the game if classes turn out to be stat bundles with new outfits. What matters is how a class changes moment to moment combat, how it works with weapon choice, and how easy it is to switch or respec. Early Access players have waited a long time for a deeper RPG layer, so the December Open Beta, where all 24 classes are promised, is where those answers will really be tested.
