Phantom Blade Zero has reached more than three million wishlists across all platforms, marking a major level of interest for S Game’s upcoming action RPG before its release on October 29, 2026.
The developer announced the milestone through the game’s official X account on September 17. The accompanying artwork displays more than 3,000,000 wishlist registrations and identifies PlayStation 5, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
Three million wishlists cover all announced platforms
S Game confirmed that the figure combines wishlists across every currently announced platform. It is not a Steam only total, although the developer did not disclose how the registrations are divided between PlayStation 5, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.
The milestone should also be understood as a measure of interest rather than a sales result. Adding a game to a wishlist does not require a purchase, and one person may register interest through more than one storefront. The number therefore does not necessarily represent three million individual players or three million guaranteed sales.
Even with those distinctions, the total gives Phantom Blade Zero a substantial audience of interested consumers before release. Reaching the milestone with approximately six weeks remaining before launch suggests that the game has maintained attention through its trailers, public demonstrations, and recent gameplay presentation.
What players are waiting for
Phantom Blade Zero follows Soul through a dark martial arts world that S Game calls the Wulin. Its combat combines traditional wuxia influences with weapons, mechanical creations, and fantasy elements.
An official gameplay presentation revealed more than 30 main weapons and 25 secondary weapons known as Phantom Edges. Players will be able to upgrade their equipment, recover invested materials through reforging, and choose from several difficulty settings.
Kung fu actor and filmmaker Donnie Yen is also involved as a creative consultant. He provides facial and motion capture for Mó Yuan, a character connected to Soul’s story. These details were confirmed during the game’s August State of Play presentation.
Phantom Blade Zero remains set for October
Phantom Blade Zero is scheduled to launch on October 29, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and PC through Steam and the Epic Games Store. Preorders are currently available across all three storefronts through the official game website.
PlayStation notes that the game will become available on October 28 in the United States and select regions. Players should therefore check their local storefront for the exact regional release time.
S Game has not published a platform breakdown for the three million wishlists, regional statistics, or a corresponding preorder total. For now, the confirmed milestone shows broad interest across the game’s announced platforms, but it should not be interpreted as a sales forecast.
