Phantom Blade Zero unlocks on PlayStation 5 at a single moment worldwide: 02:00 UTC on October 29, 2026. That is the evening of October 28 in the Americas, the early hours of October 29 in Europe, and late morning on October 29 in Asia and Australia. The PlayStation Store listing shows the same moment on its US, UK, Singapore and Japan pages, so this is not a launch at local midnight in each region.
S-GAME's wuxia action RPG also comes to PC through Steam. Below are the PlayStation 5 unlock times by city, what Steam says, and what to sort out before launch day.
PlayStation 5 unlock times
Where | Local unlock time |
|---|---|
Los Angeles (PDT) | 7:00 PM, October 28 |
New York (EDT) | 10:00 PM, October 28 |
London (GMT) | 2:00 AM, October 29 |
Central Europe (CET) | 3:00 AM, October 29 |
Singapore, Hong Kong and Taipei (GMT+8) | 10:00 AM, October 29 |
Seoul and Tokyo (GMT+9) | 11:00 AM, October 29 |
Sydney (AEDT) | 1:00 PM, October 29 |
UTC | 02:00, October 29 |
Europe moves to winter time on October 25, so the London and Central Europe times above already use GMT and CET. The US stays on summer time until November 1, so New York and Los Angeles are still on EDT and PDT.

What Steam says
The Steam page lists October 28, 2026 and gives no unlock hour. Steam shows the date in US terms, and October 28 is also the US evening on which the PS5 version unlocks, but S-GAME has not said that the PC version opens at the same moment. Until it does, the PlayStation Store time is the only official hour, and PC players should keep an eye on the Steam page on launch day.
What to know before you play
Price on Steam in the US: $59.99 for the standard edition and $69.99 for the Digital Deluxe Edition, both open for pre-purchase.
Pre-order bonus: the Treasure Basin accessory, which raises the Remnant Dust drop rate by 10%, and the Legacy outfit. Steam notes that both can also be earned by playing.
Demo: the Steam page does not list one.
Languages: English and Simplified Chinese have full audio. Thirteen more languages are supported, including Japanese, Korean, Traditional Chinese, Thai and Vietnamese.
What it is: a single player game. You play Soul, an assassin framed for his master's murder with 66 days to live, fighting with fast deflections, counters, more than 30 weapons and over 20 Phantom Edges.
NEXTARCA's take
One worldwide unlock is fair, but it lands very differently depending on where you live. Players in Asia and Australia get it in the late morning or early afternoon, the US gets it on a Wednesday evening, and Europe gets it in the middle of the night, so European players lose nothing by starting after breakfast.
With no demo, the first hour of the launch build is your real test of the deflection combat. The Steam page does not spell out what the Digital Deluxe Edition adds over the standard one, so unless that changes before launch, the $59.99 edition is the safer buy.
