Scramble Knights Online, the MMO-lite action RPG from Funktronic Labs, enters Early Access on October 26. In its launch announcement on Steam, the studio sets the price at $12.99 as a one-time purchase with no microtransactions, and confirms that progress from the current demo carries straight into the game.

Launch time around the world
Funktronic Labs writes the launch time as 10 AM PST. On October 26 the US West Coast is still on daylight time, so we read this as 10:00 AM Pacific time, which is 5:00 PM UTC. That is 6:00 PM in Central Europe (CET), 5:00 PM in London (GMT), 1:00 PM in New York (EDT) and 10:00 AM in Los Angeles (PDT). In Asia it is already October 27: 1:00 AM in Singapore, Hong Kong and Taipei (GMT+8) and 2:00 AM in Seoul and Tokyo (GMT+9).
Platforms, price and what is included
Xbox Wire's recap of the ID@Xbox showcase lists the October 26 launch for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC and Game Pass. The game is also on Steam, which lists Windows and SteamOS or Linux. The studio says every version can play together through cross-play.
Funktronic Labs gives the price as $12.99 and says regional prices will differ. The studio rules out pay to win and paid progression, and says there are no plans for in-game purchases right now, though it may consider a founder's pack or paid cosmetic DLC to help cover servers. The Steam page adds that the price will rise as content is added.
At launch you get:
- The full 1-Star area, which the studio puts at roughly 5 hours of content.
- Faction PvP, described on Steam as an early, optional version.
- Squads of up to 4 players.
What comes next
The Steam page says the game will stay in Early Access for at least a year, and that version 1.0 should reach at least the 4-Star tier of quests and areas, around 40 hours of content. The studio plans its first big update for this winter, after launch bugs are dealt with, and says a roadmap is coming soon. It is also considering content that needs more players and cooperation between parties.
The Steam page notes the game uses Easy Anti-Cheat at kernel level, which some PC players will want to know before buying.
NEXTARCA's take
At $12.99 for about five hours of content, this is a modest start, and the studio is honest about it. The real value depends on how fast new star tiers arrive, so the promised roadmap matters more than launch day. Cross-play with Game Pass on day one is a strong move for a small online game, because it gives the shared world a player base from the start. If you enjoyed the demo, there is no reason to wait: your progress transfers, and the price is only set to go up.
