Grab your Keyblade. KINGDOM HEARTS Collection [I~III] is out today, October 8, 2026, bringing the series so far to PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC and Nintendo Switch 2 in a single package. The date and platforms are listed on Square Enix’s own store and the console storefronts.
If you have ever looked at the list of Kingdom Hearts games and wondered where on earth to begin, this is Square Enix’s answer.
What is in the collection
Three existing releases are bundled together:
KINGDOM HEARTS -HD 1.5+2.5 ReMIX-
KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue
KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind (DLC)
Between them, those cover the numbered games and the side stories that connect them, from Sora’s first trip off Destiny Islands to the end of the third game and its Re Mind expansion.
What it costs
The full collection is $74.99 on the PlayStation Store and the Xbox store in the United States. Each of the three parts is also sold separately for $39.99, so the bundle works out cheaper if you want more than one. Prices in other regions will differ, so check your local store.
The Xbox listing covers both Xbox Series X|S and PC, and it is marked as an Xbox Play Anywhere title.
A different Keyblade on each platform
Every version comes with its own exclusive Keyblade, included with the purchase:
PlayStation 5: Midnight Blue
Xbox Series X|S: Phantom Green
Nintendo Switch 2: Long Night
It is a small thing, but if you care about how Sora’s weapon looks, it may be worth a moment before you choose where to play.
Some players are already in
Today is the official release date, but not everyone waited. The PlayStation and Xbox listings gave 48 hours of early access to players who placed a digital pre-order, which is why those stores show October 6 as the start date.
One note on the physical edition
Square Enix’s store lists physical editions for PS5 and Switch 2, with a warning that the physical version needs an internet connection and an additional download. If you are buying the box for the shelf, plan for that before you sit down to play.
With KINGDOM HEARTS IV still without a release date, this is the easiest way to catch up on the story so far.
So, are you starting from the very first game, or jumping straight to the one you never finished? And which Keyblade got your vote? Tell us in the comments.
