Four games we cover arrive between Monday, October 12 and Sunday, October 18, 2026. A first person soulslike and a survival RPG leaving Early Access are the two biggest, with a co-op horror game and a remaster of a classic on either side of them.
Here is everything on the NEXTARCA Roadmap for the week, in date order, and what follows the week after.
This week at a glance
Date | Game | Platforms |
|---|---|---|
October 12 | Ghost hunter (Early Access) | PC |
October 13 | Valor Mortis | PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S |
October 15 | Enshrouded 1.0 | PC, PlayStation, Xbox |
October 16 | Tales of Eternia Remastered | PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch |
Ghost hunter (October 12)
Ghost hunter opens the week on PC in Early Access. It is a co-op horror game from GKD Studio built on Chinese folklore and Taoist tradition. One to five players enter haunted places with talismans and ritual tools, complete missions, gather what they can and get out.
It is an extraction game with RPG elements, played against the environment and not against other players. A demo is on Steam, so you can try it with friends before the launch build arrives.

Valor Mortis (October 13)
Valor Mortis is the release most players are watching. One More Level, the studio behind Ghostrunner, has made a soulslike you play in first person. You are William, a soldier of Napoleon's army raised from the dead into a Europe gripped by a strange plague.
The game unlocks at one moment worldwide, which is 1:00 AM on October 14 in Asia time (GMT+8). It costs $39.99, with no pre-orders. Our launch times guide has the hour for each region.

Enshrouded 1.0 (October 15)
Enshrouded reaches version 1.0 after more than two years in Early Access on Steam. Keen Games' survival action RPG sends you into a kingdom swallowed by a corrupting fog, with voxel building that lets you shape a base block by block and co-op for up to 16 players in one world.
If you held off while it was unfinished, this is the version to judge it by.

Tales of Eternia Remastered (October 16)
Tales of Eternia Remastered closes the week. It is the first remaster of the Tales action RPG from 2000, developed by TOSE and published by Bandai Namco. Reid, Farah and the mysterious Meredy try to stop a collision between the worlds of Inferia and Celestia, with real time side on battles in the classic Tales style.
Japanese and Korean voice acting are included, and the PC requirements are very low.

Coming the week after
October 19 to 25 is busier still. These are next on the Roadmap:
October 21: The Lord of the Rings Online: The Wolves of Mordor (PC)
October 22: FINAL FANTASY RESONANCE (PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch)
October 22: Stupid Never Dies (PC, PlayStation)
October 23: Warrior Cats: Clans of the Forest (PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch)
The full list, with dates as they change, is on the upcoming games page.
NEXTARCA's take
Valor Mortis is the one to watch, and also the biggest gamble. A soulslike seen through your own eyes makes attacks from the side harder to read, so we would wait for the first player reports on Wednesday morning before buying.
Enshrouded 1.0 is the safer choice this week. It has had years of player feedback, and it is best with friends. Tales of Eternia Remastered is for players who want an older, slower kind of RPG, and Ghost hunter is worth a look only if a co-op horror night is what you are after.
