Valor Mortis Launch Times: When It Unlocks in Asia on October 14

Valor Mortis launches worldwide at a single moment on Tuesday, October 13, which is 1:00 AM on October 14 in Asia time (GMT+8). Developer One More Level confirmed the schedule in a Steam announcement on October 9, alongside the official launch trailer and its first plans for after launch.

The official map lists ten cities, and every one of them works out to the same instant: 17:00 UTC. Only Beijing and Seoul are shown for Asia, so we converted the rest.

The map carries the Steam, PS5 and Xbox logos and gives one time per city, with no separate console schedule.

Price, editions and no pre-orders

The studio set the price in September at $39.99 or €39.99. A Deluxe Edition costs $59.99 or €59.99. It adds the La Grande Armée weapon skin pack, three more skin packs to come, and a Major Story DLC that the edition's artwork dates to 2027.

There are no pre-orders. One More Level said it wanted the finished game to "do the talking", so nobody can buy it before launch. The announcement does not mention pre-loading either, so plan for the download to start at launch time.

On Steam, the studio also announced launch bundles that take 10% off when Valor Mortis is bought with Dishonored, No Rest for the Wicked, MOUSE: P.I. For Hire, Ghostrunner or Ghostrunner 2.

What comes after launch

New Game+ is the first confirmed addition, promised for later this year. It lets you carry progression and loot into a second run against stronger enemies.

The studio also wants to add a fully voiced French version, but it has no date. At launch, the Steam page lists full audio in English only, with French among the subtitled languages.

The Major Story DLC is described as a complete side story, separate from the main campaign.

NEXTARCA's take

For most of Asia this is a launch for the early hours of Wednesday, not Tuesday night. With no pre-orders and no confirmed pre-load, little is lost by waiting until morning, when the first player reports are in.

The more useful detail is New Game+. A soulslike with a story the studio puts at 20 hours leans on replay, and that mode is not in the game on day one. If a second, harder run is the reason you buy these games, the version you want arrives later this year. Prices in Asian currencies were not yet shown on Steam when we checked on October 10.
